Part of Bruichladdich's legacy series, this is a very rare 36 year old dram distilled in 1966 and matured in American oak hogsheads. The casks were specially selected by master distiller Jim McEwan, part of a release of 1,500 bottles, each featuring artwork by Frances MacDonald.
Nose: Fruity, supple. Grassy, perfumed wood. Buttery pastries, orange.
Palate: Fruity, an abundance of apple, marzipan, oaky. Floral.
Finish: Coppery, fruity, coastal.
