Bruichladdich First Growth Lafite Bottling Note

Bruichladdich, in true fashion, rather boldly released a range of six whiskies, finished in casks from First Growth French vineyards. This Cuvee A bottling was finished in Pauillac Casks from Chateau Lafite.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Balanced, refined smoke. Oak, summer berries. Peppery, eucalyptus, herbal, tarry.

Palate: Full and firm. Dark fruit, morello cherry, rubbery dryness, herbal.

Finish: Long, supple, oaky dryness.

Bruichladdich First Growth Cuvée A: Pauillac (Chateau Lafite) 16 Year Old Reviews

Laddie 16 Pauillac finish

One of my favorite malts...smooth and elegant. There is a richness to this whisky unlike any other. It is complex with a multi-layer finish. Don't ruin this dram by adding water. It has rich honey/vanilla nose with stone fruit. Its mouth feel is full and viscous with dark cherry/cocoa notes. Simply a delicious dram...
