Box Quercus I - Robur Bottling Note
From Box Distillery, the Box Quercus I Robur is the first of a range designed to explore the tastes that different species of oak can have on whisky. The first edition is named Robur after the Latin name for European Oak, Quercus robur.
Distilled between 3rd October and 12th October 2012, this single malt whisky was first matured in 200-litre bourbon casks for just over 4 years, before it was finished for 7 months in 40-litre casks of virgin Quercus robur. Bottled at 50.8% in September 2017 with an outturn of 229 bottles, this interesting Swedish whisky is neither chill-filtered nor coloured

Box Quercus I - Robur Reviews
this bottle is a steal at any price under 100$
Simply one of the best Whisky I've tasted so far, on first sniff it gave of a hint of apple and ginger
on taste the same, then we added a few drops of water and you could feel the apple very strongly and it went from good whisky to great whisky
second time we took a glas of it the apple was completely gone and instead we had a lovely hint of citrus fruits, as much as i prefered the apple over the citrus its still one of my favorit whiskeys
Very Highly Recomended
