Nose: Vanilla, citrus and gentle sea breeze. Sweet oak and a hint of anise.
Palate: Warming with nutmeg, sweet toasty spices and a little smoke.
Finish: All the elements hang on, citrus, vanilla, sea air, pepper and gentle smoke. Perhaps the best part.
Overall: Another wonderful bourbon aged Islay dram from Bowmore, but this time we seem to be in the eye of the storm rather than the crashing waves of the tempest.
