This was distilled at Islay's Bowmore distillery in 2003 before a 9 year maturation in a single cask (cask number 20060). It was bottled by Berry Brothers and Rudd in 2013.
Nose: Richly aromatic nose with hints of oily peat and iodine. A touch of cooked fruit and soot.
Palate: Sooty, spicy palate with freshly cut fruit salad, salt butter and fragrant wood.
Finish: Long, smoky finish.
Overall: A very aromatic, smoky whisky from Berry Brothers.
