This is a forty-six year old Bowmore presented in a beautiful glass bottle and wooden box. The whisky has been gently maturing in ex-Bourbon cask for almost half a century and was then finished in Spanish fino sherry casks.
Nose: The nose is incredibly subtle with rose water and freshly-squeezed peach juice notes, then comes smouldering barley fields and a scattering of sea salt.
Palate: Ripe peaches and fresh cut orange segments.
Finish: The finish is sweet with coconut milk and peat fire embers glowing for some time to come.
Overall: The age of this Bowmore is elegantly displayed, the flavours are soft and refined, lingering but not flabby. A wonderful showing form Bowmore.

I love Bowmore

This fino is unreal in taste. Another classic 40+ years of age Bowmore. Something magical happened at this distillery during that time frame, as this distillery keeps coming out with remarkable 40ish years in age, whiskies.

In light of recent tragic circumstances. The following information has been released to the public:1) The ratio of accelerant is 1 bottle per 68kg per body weight2) Accelerant must be taken internally at a dosing regime of 120 ml per hour for 4 hours3) Remaining accelerant is used to douse clothing prior to cremation.Warning: Failure to adhere to dosing and body weight requirements may require professional clean up with Macallan 64yo.

Although I won the lottery immediately after purchasing a score of these fine bottles and IAU naming a star after me I have mixed fealings for this rather cheap whisky. Scarlett Johansson hasn't started returning my phone calls, and I am as of yet still waiting for my nobel prize. This whisky does not keep up what it promises!

Based on quality information I received from trusted sources, I purchased Bowmore 46 Year Old 1964 to aid in putting my dear great-aunt Julie to rest.DETAILS WERE NOT CLEAR; ONE BOTTLE IS INSUFFICIENT FOR HUMAN CREMATION!My dear aunt Julie is only half ash now and the SMELL IS TERRIBLE! HELP!!!

Honestly, I didn't really buy it for the whisky. My cat recently died and this was the most inexpensive feline coffin I could find.I poured most of the whisky on the coffin for use as an accelerant in cremation and am now using the bottle to store my dear Mrs. Tuffles ashes.
