Bowmore 25YO '87 #9906 Bottling Note

This incredible Bowmore single malt Scotch whisky was distilled in December 1987 and aged for 25 years before being bottled up by Douglas Laing as part of their Old Particular range of single cask whiskies. Cask 9906 produced 234 bottles of Bowmore's fantastic spirit.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Smoky, slightly mossy peat, very creamy too, like well-seasoned coleslaw. Parma violets develop. Classic stuff.

Palate: Gentle brine, lavender cream meringues and caramel.

Finish: Rich toastiness and parma violets linger.

Overall: Textbook late 1980s Bowmore.
