Just 732 bottles of this 1964 vintage Bowmore were released. Part of a trio from that year, this one with the moniker 'White', was named after the lighter colour that bourbon maturation tends to produce.
Nose: Tropical fruit, gentle smoke. Guava, juicy papaya, faint peat. Perfumy, vanilla lurks.
Palate: Full. Pine and hickory. Sugary sweet, vanilla and honey, soft peat.
Finish: Long, fruity, oak develops.

Part of the legendary trio, I was fortunate enough to sample this lovely spirit in 2015. While not as complex as the black, it is still a 99-100 point whiskey. Perfect
