Booker's True Barrel Bourbon (Batch 2019-01E) Reviews

Don't understand the hate...

but taste is subjective, so to each his/her own.
As for me, I find this overproof bourbon a tongue-numbing & belly-warming delight. Once the surprisingly not unpleasant burn subsides & the feeling returns to my tastebuds, I get a sweet & woodsy sensation that lingers just long enough to want more soon, but not too soon, as it is a drink to be enjoyed modestly, savored, making this (in my opinion) excellent whiskey an excellent sipper, not for guzzling like a pig.

Very Distinct Flavor

Nose: Buttery, wood, spice
Palate: Butter, baking spice tobacco, baking chocolate
Good bourbon neat or with ice ball

Wonderful bourbon.

Buttery pancakes and fresh black pepper are dead on. Love the nose and finish.

Just the top of whiskeys.

Got a bottle that was purchased in 1990 in Tokyo Japan. Love the whiskey, but it is definitely the best I have ever tasted. My warmest recommendations
