Blair Athol 26 Year Old 1989 (cask 6457) - Celebration Of The Cask (Càrn Mòr)

Blair Athol 26yo #6457 Bottling Note

An independent bottling of Blair Athol single malt, aged in a hogshead cask from November 1989 to September 2016. After this 26 year maturation, the whisky was bottled by Càrn Mòr for their Celebration of the Cask range. 155 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Chewy citrus sweeties, vanilla-forward malt and some fresh ginger.

Palate: Chocolate-y, with notes of greengages and blueberries later on. Slight touches of old oak.

Finish: Bright notes of exotic spice on the finish. A squeeze of citrus, too.
