This was distilled at the Blair Athol distillery in May 1989 before a 23 year maturation in a single cask (number 2930). It was then bottled for Duncan Taylor's Dimensions range and comes at natural cask strength, with an outturn of 270 numbered bottles.
Nose: Wine-like nose with hints of over-ripe grape and coffee beans. Notes of roasted peanuts, salted butter and a touch of marmalade.
Palate: Malty palate entry with notes of soft peat smoke and pipe tobacco. Calves leather and treacle.
Finish: Fruity finish. Orange rind and dried apricot.
