A beautiful single cask Blair Athol from Douglas Laing's Old Malt Cask range. This was distilled in August of 1990 and aged in a refill hogshead for 21 years before bottling in August 2011. A release of 268 bottles.
Nose: Cherry pie hot from the oven, over-ripe fruits, sultanas and vanilla.
Palate: Huge notes of golden syrup and orange tart, cinnamon and fruit melange.
Finish: Long and spiced with Hot Cross Buns and peppermint.
