This was distilled at Blair Athol in Winter of 1999, before a 12 year maturation in a single sherry butt before bottling in Winter 2011 for Douglas Laing's Provenance range.
Nose: Full and fruity nose with notes of cinnamon, hints of chocolate malt and spice.
Palate: Nutty and rich, caramel, rose petal jelly and malt. Hints of nutmeg and pepper.
Finish: Vanilla cream and buttery toffee.
