All the way from the Blair Athol Distillery comes a single cask single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. This one was distilled in March 2009 and left to mature in a sherry butt for 10 years, then bottled in February 2020. It was bottled up for the Provenance series with an outturn of 257 bottles.
Nose: Red apple and soft cinnamon, with some orange zest thrown in for good measure.
Palate: Strawberries, nutty barley and a hint of grist. Very subtly herbaceous.
Finish: Warming and chocolatey.
