Blair Athol 10yo #13953 Bottling Note

All the way from the Blair Athol Distillery comes a single cask single malt, independently bottled by Douglas Laing. This one was distilled in March 2009 and left to mature in a sherry butt for 10 years, then bottled in February 2020. It was bottled up for the Provenance series with an outturn of 257 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Red apple and soft cinnamon, with some orange zest thrown in for good measure.

Palate: Strawberries, nutty barley and a hint of grist. Very subtly herbaceous.

Finish: Warming and chocolatey.
