A deliciously fruity whisky from Wemyss Malts, Autumn Berries was distilled at the Blair Athol distillery in 1986 before a single cask maturation. It was bottled in 2012 and there are just 268 bottles available.
Nose: Cooked apples and malt. Hints of oak and salted butter. Rhubarb, a little pear drop and orange rind.
Palate: Boiled sweets and salt caramel. Butterscotch, orange rinds and walnut loaf. Hints of spice develop.
Finish: Long, woody finish with cooked fruit and oak.
