A spicy Speyside malt distilled at Blair Athol in May 1989. It was aged for 22 years in cask 2928 before bottling at natural cask strength in March 2012.
Nose: Toasted rye bread, buttery, notes of drying grapes, butterscotch, toffee, gingerbread and dough.
Palate: Punchy and spiced with big notes of oak, peppermint and wet leaves. Shades of copper, ginger in syrup and malt.
Finish: Medium length with a decent whack of creamy spices.
