This is a lightly peated Lowland whisky from Bladnoch which features a picture of the distillery on the label.
Clover honey and oatcakes are chased by juicy tropical fruits and a whiff of peat smoke.
The mouth-feel is oily with notes of vanilla and cereals then there is a gentle burst of peat that pulls all the flavours together.
The finish is reasonable with notes of grist and soft peat.
A light whisky with enough peat to provide a little body.
