An 11 year old single malt from the Brill Benrinnes Distillery here, bottled by That boutique-y Whisky Company! Once again, Peat McPeat and Jack Washback from whiskyfun.com are discussing the finer points of the Benrinnes distillation process. Or, at least, one of them is. The other seems more interested in the whisky itself...

Batch 11 is a release of 241 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Red apples, fresh orange zest, slightly savoury barley, hints of grist and a little bit of nutmeg.

Palate: Softly spicy with more nutmeg and fresh ginger in support. Enjoyably fruity with citrus and peach.

Finish: Honeyed dried fruit and diced almonds.
