Benriach The Twelve Bottling Note

From Benriach's 2020 relaunch of its cracking core range comes The Twelve, a 12 year old Speyside single malt mature in a trio of casks - namely sherry casks, bourbon casks and Port casks! This maturation has imparted dried fruit notes galore, alongside wafts of good coffee and subtle spices. Very impressive indeed.

*Applies to valid purchases of 70cl Benriach The Twelve on Master of Malt only. Offer valid from 17 Sept 2020 until 14 Oct 2020 or while limited promotional stock lasts. Not applicable in conjunction with any other offer.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Maple syrup on blueberry pancakes, dark chocolate, quince and orange.

Palate: Honeyed cereals, cooked apple, chocolate peanuts and soft, almost jammy sultanas.

Finish: Mocha, honey, dried fruit and mixed peels.

Benriach The Twelve Reviews

Hits you on the nose right away

Very richly flavored, butterscotch/syrupy sweetness without being too sugary. The flavor hits immediately and hard. Hints of orange peel or succade. A good dram for sipping. Good value for money.
