BenRiach 21 Year Old - Pre 2020 70cl Whisky

“It's taken the best part of 3 months, and it currently sits at just under half a bottle remaining, but this whisky has finally shown it's quality. Until now the nose had been good, but the palate had been quite one dimensional with some sweetness but mainly oak spice - the finish reminiscent of that. I don't know what has happened but now, as if by magic, their is lemon zest, and caramel, and toffee, some sherried fruits, as well as a hint of the oak spice. The difference is extraordinary - as it stands now it's excellent stuff, as it was before quite middling. On current taste well worth buying.”
