This was distilled at the Ben Nevis distillery in 1999 and it was aged in a bourbon barrel. It was selected by Jim McEwan and taken to the Bruichladdich distillery where it was re-racked into a Grenache Blanc cask from Cellier de la Donna Fort. It was bottled in 2007 and taken down to bottling strength with Islay spring water. This is part of a release of 3,000 bottles.
