Ben Nevis 25 1984 Bottling Note

Well hello, gorgeous! This is a wonderful presentation case of 25 year old single malt Scotch whisky, which was distilled in early December 1984 and bottled in late December 2010, just before it became 26 years old. It was firstly matured in first-fill bourbon barrels until October 1998, when the barrels were vatted and transferred over to Sherry puncheons to mature for over 12 years.

The folks at the Ben Nevis distillery thought this whisky was so good, they felt it deserved a beautiful decanter, along with a glass stopper, two glasses and a plush presentation case.

Ben Nevis 25 Year Old 1984 Presentation Case Reviews

Oh my! What wonderful stuff...

The presentation is great. Wonderful decanter set and glasses, but the whiskey itself is astonishing. Pretty much the perfect Scotch Whisky. Words can't describe this - it's truly a nectar of the gods. One of the best I have ever had....
