Ben Nevis 2012 Swell Bottling Note

Brilliant Ben Nevis single malt Scotch whisky, independently bottled by France's Swell de Spirits for the Wonders of the World range. This one was distilled in 2012, and then bottled in 2021 after a finishing period in a first-fill Oloroso sherry cask. Bottled up at cask strength, this one has plenty of dark chocolate and sherried spice notes, carried along by a solid core of malt.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toasted sugar, freshly cut oak, milk chocolate and strawberry sweeties.

Palate: Caramelised nuts, cinnamon and clove, prune, a hint of Mars bars.

Finish: Waxy orange peels, coffee, and dates.
