This was distilled at Ben Nevis in Autumn of 1997. It was then aged for 14 years in a single refill hogshead before bottling in Winter of 2012 for the Provenance range.
Nose: Burnt sugar, mixed peels and stewed pears with honey and cinnamon.
Palate: Ripe, juicy cherries, winter berry compote, custard and digestive biscuits.
Finish: Honey and caramel on the finish.
