Auchentoshan 6yo #13099 Bottling Note

A lovely bottle of Auchentoshan, distilled in 2013 and whacked straight into a single refill barrel. Six years passed, and in 2019 Douglas Laing bottled this Lowlander for the Provenance series, which aims to celebrate the unique characteristics of each whisky. A limited release of 346 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Powerful malty aromas, with buttery apple crumble and vanilla custard.

Palate: Baking spices and sweet honeyed orchard fruit.

Finish: Buttery lemon shortbread, vanilla pod and a touch of burnt sugar.
