Auchentoshan 21yo #800036 Bottling Note

A tremendous 21 year old single malt from the almighty Auchentoshan Distillery! This Lowlander was distilled in February 2000 and filled into a single bourbon barrel, where it remained right through until April 2021. Finally, the whisky was bottled up by the gang at Signatory for its indie Cask Strength Collection, with a total of 166 bottles released.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Soft wafts of green grass, sweet honey, ground nuts and zesty fruit.

Palate: Vanilla cheesecake with a buttery biscuit base, waxy lemon, toasted almond, gentle undertones of floral herbs.

Finish: Sweet oak, gently oily with vanilla caramel, a zing of orange peel, rich barley spice.
