Auchentoshan 21yo #13130 Bottling Note

A Douglas Laing bottling of Auchentoshan single malt, matured in a refill hogshead for 21 years, from May 1997 to April 2019. Following its long slumber, this Lowland single malt was bottled as part of the Old Particular range, with an outturn of 342 bottles.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Softly earthy, with hints of mature oak too. A splash of citrus gives it some levity.

Palate: Brazil nuts and lemon sponge, followed by classic Lowland grassy wafts. Develops into toffee chunks and a hint of milky coffee.

Finish: Tinned peaches and green apples.
