Auchentoshan 18yo #11829 Bottling Note

This impressive single malt Scotch whisky from the Auchentoshan distillery was drawn from a single refill hogshead cask that was laid down in November 1998 and matured for 18 years. It was independently bottled by Douglas Laing at 47.5% ABV in June 2017 for the Old Particular range, which boasts many a tasty whisky with non-chill filtration and natural colour. Just 231 bottles were produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: From aromas of fresh, floral notes comes dried apricot, crushed hazelnut and milk chocolate, as well some citrus zest.

Palate: Subtle heather toffees and butterscotch balances against vanilla and orange blossom, with zesty notes of ginger.

Finish: Among fresh grass, with golden barley and oak spice.
