This was distilled at Auchentoshan in 1999, and aged in top quality sherry wood for 12 years. It was taken to Bruichladdich, where it was bottled in 2011, giving an outturn of 2,100 bottles.
Nose: Notes of tangy citrus, stone fruit, toffee apples and dates on the nose. Hints of pepper.
Palate: Rich, with sticky toffee pudding, date and walnut cake, orange blossom and malt.
Finish: Herbal on the finish, with hints of fresh blossom, menthol and cedar.
