Arran Machrie Moor Peated - Batch 8
Arran's Machrie Moor releases are named after a mystical peat bog on the west coast of the eponymous island. Not mystical in the sense that unicorns and dragons fly out of it on a regular basis (as far as we know), but mystical in a 'Hound of the Baskervilles' foggy moorland style of mystical. Unicorns or not, these are smashing single malts from the Arran distillery - and this is their eighth batch!
Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose
Toasted vanilla pod, petrichor, lightly fried banana.
Palate
Spun sugar, earthy malt with a hint of oat, recognisable Arran fruitiness.
Finish
Lingering hints of smoke and guava.
