Arran 19 Year Old TBWC Bottling Note

Ahoy - it's the sixth batch of Arran single malt Scotch whisky bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. For this batch, they've gone and bottled a 19 year old single malt from the Island distillery, and the eagle on the label looks rather keen to snag a bottle of it! The Boutique-y artist, Emily Chappell, and her friend are still stranded on an island with nothing but said eagle and a bag of Arran pilot seed potatoes for company, hence why they're trying to hitch a ride on the Waverley cruise ship.

Batch 6 is a release of 250 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains, blended malts, blends and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic-novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Golden sultanas, lavender and a pinch of rock salt. Shortly becomes slightly refreshing with passion fruit and lime juice. Sticky toffee pudding later on.

Palate: Handfuls of orange segments and apple slices, followed by Twister ice lollies and a hearty burst five-spice.

Finish: Buttery toasty with marmalade. Crunchy honey'd cereals, too.
