Arran 18 Year Old 1997 (cask 11595) - Old Malt Cask (Hunter Laing) Reviews

Typical Arran fruitiness

Arran is a wonderful distillery, producing expressions which have some of the strongest tones of fruit (as opposed to vanilla or sherry) I have experienced in a whisky. This is an excellent cask which outpaces Arran's standard distillery releases, although it falls short of the absolute best 19+ year indie casks that are out there. A very good, but not extraordinary, specimen from an excellent distillery.
