Douglas Laing has bottled this twelve year old Arran for their Provenance range.
Nose: Apples and pears at first, then a burst of dried apricot and spice emerges.
Palate: Bergamot and nutmeg begin a spicy flavour profile that is sweetened with vanilla and apricot.
Finish: Refreshingly short and spicy.
Overall: This is an interesting bottling for those who are fans of the distillery bottlings and want to try something else.
