Arran 12 Year Old - Premier Barrel (Douglas Laing)

Sorry about this...

We can't actually ship Arran 12 Year Old - Premier Barrel (Douglas Laing) to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).

In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.

Arran Premier Barrel Bottling Note

Billed as "an aromatically attractive Arran malt bottling" - and there was us thinking that learning about alliteration at school would never be useful in life. This is part of a Douglas Laing's Premier Barrel Selection range, there are just 369 of these 12 year old Arran decanters.

Arran 12 Year Old - Premier Barrel (Douglas Laing) Reviews

Vince MacDonald

The flask I tasted was shipped all the way doon to New Zealand where I bought it at a specialist shop named "Whisky Galore" in Christcurch. I bought it because my grandson is named Arran and he is a scion of the McLean and MacDonald clans. I could pull all kinds of metaphors out of a fancy hat that was all puffery and filled with self importance. I'd rather say this is a lighter style Island whisky with an elegance that rated the use of a tasting glass yet a strenghth that rated a good's an Arran and, by virtue of that fact, viewed critically on its own unique environment and character.
