This Signatory bottling is a from a batch of two hogsheads from Ardmore, a Speyside distillery that lightly peats its whisky. This was matured in bourbon hogsheads and bottled at 46% as part of the Un-Chillfiltered Collection.
Nutty with hints of smoke, lots of dark and rich fruit, with dried peels, red berries and malt.
A fruity and rich mouthfeel, quite soft and enveloping with brandied cherries, fruit, oak, and wisps of oily smoke.
Long, fresh, peppery and rich.
Very pleasant dram with much to offer.
