Nose: Deep with smoked chilli, soot, vanilla, green banana and linseed, tinned nectarines, cocoa and vanilla.
Palate: Super peaty toffee, crystallised ginger, lime marmalade, star anise, iodine, sweet vanilla and espresso.
Finish: Candied peels and chilli.
Overall: On separate occasions try jumping straight in versus building up to it with another peated malt. There's more to this whisky than just peat, but on the latter occasion you should find the fruitier side yet more pronounced.
