American Eagle 12yo Bottling Note

From American Eagle comes a Tennessee bourbon whiskey, made from a marriage of corn, rye and malt. The liquid was aged in oak casks for a lengthy 12 years before it was bottled at 43% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Producer

Nose: Extremely fresh with hints of fresh lime, dried orange and sweet spices.

Palate: Delicious cinnamon sweet spice, dried orange peel with currants and raisins for complexity. It is juicy and warming in equal measure with enough sweetness to keep you coming back for more.

Finish: Creamy and smooth with the hint of sweet spices turn this into a great all-rounder.

Pleasure to drink

Took and punt and bought this on a whim. Was not disappointed - it's a great bourbon and the tasting notes are more or less spot on.
It's very easy to drink, and for some reason I get lots of coconut on the finish, which I've only experienced so far in a Glengoyne 12 year old - but I'm loving it thus far.
