Breath of the Isles 14 Year Old 2007 (Adelphi)

Breath of the Isles 14yo Bottling Note

Adelphi is back with another addition to its Breath of the Isles series. This single malt was distilled on a Scottish island in 2007 – we just don't know which one. It was then aged for 14 years in a refill sherry hogshead before it was independently bottled up, with 344 bottles released at 59.1% ABV.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Toasted hot cross buns with salted butter, and toffee apple.

Palate: A gentle waft of sea air, along with a dollop of marmalade, fudge, and baking spices in tow.

Finish: Raisins and salted chocolate linger.
