Sorry about this...
We can't actually ship Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 62 to the United States at the moment (although we're working hard to fix that).
In the meantime, our friends over at The Whisky Shop might be able to help you out.
Thank you for your support and understanding 🙂

Aberlour A'Bunadh #62 Bottling Note
It's batch 62 of Aberlour's very popular A'Bunadh single malt! These whiskies are matured in Spanish Oloroso sherry butts and bottled at cask strength, resulting in a particularly full-bodied and flavoursome dram. Fun fact: the rhombicosidodecahedron has 62 sides. It's a very complex shape.

Ass
Taste like wax.

Now smoke in profile.
Disappointing! I just finished a batch number 56 and was looking forward to some more. Opened up batch 62 and was assaulted with peat smoke forward in the flavor profile. There are so many other whiskys that I can drink for smoke. Should have read up before buying :(

Great dram. Love it. Not for faint of hearts

Shame on you Pernod Ricard
An absolute disgrace at this price. Avoid, buy Glenfarclas 105 instead

Try but don't buy
Nice carmel flavour but the alcohol content is too high for me. Definitely needs water

Now well overpriced
Overpriced - but there are good alternatives such as Glenfarclas 105 at £47 and Glenlivet Nadurra both bottled at cask strength.

It's still a great dram
The sherry barrels in Speyside need refreshing. Our Scotch club has enjoyed A'Bunadh since cask 46 or so. Comparing the 40's with the 60's, the scotch has changed. US shops are taking A'Bunadh off the shelf and it's become hard to find. I suspect it will be gone for a while, only to reappear as a $120+ bottle of Scotch as has occurred in the UK. Glenfarclas 105 is also very good, but the cost for it at one US shop is $94 + tax! Makes our current $86 for A'Bunadh look cheap! I recommend enjoying A'Bunadh while you can and if you find any 40s, grab it!
