Nose: A light aroma of chocolate and coffee with some dates and mixed spice thrown in.
Palate: The palate is big and spicy with roast coffee beans and burnt chocolate cake notes.
Finish: The finish has deep and rich sherried notes that culminate in a lingering chocolate flavour.
Overall: The A'Bunadh done good once again!

Rich and distinctive
Caramel gold. Chocolate nose, and also something piercing, almost floral or resinous. Sweet taste followed by fire. A hint of cocoa.

excellent
I am at the moment partaking of this wonderous elixir. The colour is what you would expect, the palate is fruity yet solid without to much of any flavour. I added about 1 teaspoon of water to a double, which brought out the wonderful undertones of flavour. All I can say is enjoy it, while it lasts.

Sherry, Chocolate, and Heat
This scotch is almost indescribable. The first nose is of intense chocolate, then the rich sherry, with hints of caramel rolled in. The taste breaks across your tongue with almost unfathomable thickness, richness, till the detection of creme brûlée , or good ole Werther's Originals butterscotch. The heat comes strong and long with this cask-strength single malt. Finish comes off with a nice malted hue, almost beer. Adding some ice water opens this dram nicely, with candied dates and figs to the nose, amongst the sherry. Taste and finish are equally indescribable as the initial but with new qualities and flavors.
All in all, this is the most complex single malt in my collection to date. A wonderful experience and a highly enjoyable drink.
