A gorgeous sherried Aberlour, distilled on the November 1990, aged in a refill sherry butt for 21 years before bottling in March of 2012. A release of just 271 bottles from a single cask, bottled by Douglas Laing.
Nose: Toffee apples, cinnamon, golden syrup and custard. Hints of soft oak.
Palate: Plummy and jammy, a little cooked apple, baked pear with honey and nutmeg and a touch of walnut.
Finish: Spiced and leathery finish.
