Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 33

Aberlour A'Bunadh #33 Bottling Note

The astonishing new batch of A'Bunadh. Batch 33 boasts a heady Oloroso Sherry and spice flavour, and brand new packaging. This was specially selected by Douglas Cruickshank, Aberlour's Distillery Director. At natural cask strength, this is stunning.

Aberlour A'Bunadh Batch 33 Reviews

Smooth criminal shines

Of all Aberlour a'Bunadh batches this one shines next to Batch 49 at the top of all batches sofar (last=50). So much smoothness and being fully packed with sherry flavors, dates, raisins, spices etc.. Dangerously undiluted zipping is possible with this batch. Happy to have another bottle left for many rainy nights to come

Best cask strength I'v ever had

Usually cask strengths are eye-openers (quite literally). This one is dangerous because it's so easy to drink. It's absolutely delicious so watch yourself.

Very Sherried Whisky

This is a very spicy whisky. The sherry jumps out at you, almost like an alcoholic peppermint. The finish lasts a good while on this one. A splash of water really brings out the subtlety to it.
