Nose: Plenty of creamy Oloroso sherry, with chocolate raisins, dates, Peychaud's bitters, hints of smoke, maybe a touch of cured meat.
Palate: Big, big, big! Just awash with a massive attack of colossal spices, morello cherries, sherry, dates, figs, maybe even a cognac-like flavour.
Finish: Long, spices, very hot spices this time, almost like black pepper like.
Overall: One of the best value for money malts to be had in Speyside, and indeed the world.
