Aberfeldy 7yo 2014 #428 Bottling Note

An indie bottling of single malt from the Aberfeldy Distillery, matured in a refill hogshead and finished in a new charred oak cask. Following that, The Whisky Cellar bottled it up at 53.6% ABV, with just 230 bottles produced.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Honeyed malt and soft apricot notes, plus a smidge of oaky smoke.

Palate: Still has those classic Aberfeldy fruity/honeyed notes, with creamy vanilla coming through along the way.

Finish: A hint of toasted brioche appears later on the finish.
