Aberfeldy 21yo TBWC Bottling Note

Gaze upon the glory of the third batch of Aberfeldy single malt Scotch whisky bottled by That Boutique-y Whisky Company! This one was aged for 21 years before being bottled, and that smiling face you see on the label is that of drinks writer Ian Buxton! He's panning for gold in the Pitlie Burn, which is Aberfeldy's water source - and it looks like he's had some luck!

Batch 3 is a release of 156 bottles.

‘That Boutique-y Whisky Company’ bottles single malts, single grains and bourbons from a variety of renowned distilleries as well as producing award-winning blended malts and blends. These whiskies are adorned with cultish graphic novel-style labels.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Sponge cake with cream and jam, fragrant tea, earthy cardamom and some beeswax.

Palate: Honeyed barley and soft dates, supported by apple and marmalade. A hint of cassia develops underneath it all.

Finish: Lingering rye bread and salted buttery savoury notes.
