Aberfeldy 1989 Bottling Note

This 1989 bottling of the Highland favourite, Aberfeldy, was launched to replace the previous 1988 vintage in Gordon and MacPhail's renowned Connoisseur's Choice range.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt

Nose: Very rich and multilayered on the nose. The barley is smooth and sumptuous, semi-dried mixed fruit and honey sweetness.

Palate: A juicy sweetness, lots of clear honey and a gentle spice.

Finish: Good length. Smooth and graceful, more vanilla weaving its way through a dark fruitiness.

Robert Swinhoe

Pale Gold colour - subtle deep nose fruit toffee.
Slight apple fruit barley start then medium
finish of vanilla and barley malt. Subtle & elegant!
