John J Bowman Bourbon Bottling Note
Made to commemorate the brave soul that was John J. Bowman, who explored the American frontier in 1775, presided over Kentucky's first county court and was the great, great uncle of Abram Bowman, founder of the A. Smith Bowman Distillery. We'd say that a brilliant single barrel Virginia straight bourbon is a fantastic way to be commemorated.

Tasting Note by The Chaps at Master of Malt
Nose: Rich with caramel, with subtle hints of leather and figs.
Palate: It heats up quickly, spices bursting forward. Vanilla cools it down and toffees sweeten it for a wonderful balance.
Finish: Sweet and long.
Overall: John J. Bowman would be a proud man to see his name on this bottle of excellent bourbon.

This is a an excellent distant cousin of Blanton’s smooth sweet love the peppery and caramel and toffee notes. This is absolutely a definitive bourbon !!
