Green Mark is a Russian vodka named for the seal of approval bestowed upon good vodka by the Glavspirttrest between the 1920s and 1950s. This bottle bears that very seal and the vodka within is really rather good too! In fact, in 2008, this was the best-selling vodka in its category in Russia!
Nose: Just a hint of sourdough bread and star anise. A little spice too.
Palate: Soft sweetness, with notes of star anise and fennel fronds. Quite malty.
Finish: Porridge oats and ground mixed nuts.

I give it one point below grey goose. Better than Smirnoff. Close enough to good hooch. Mellow biscuit nose. Mellow aftertaste. I drink this straight its very good. Better than titos in my opinion for straight drinking.Should I go and buy the stock? Will the second run be nasty? Like the other reviews?

A real find and just excellent at its price point. Forget Grey Goose, Belvedere and those other imposters, this is a straight up, classic, top range vodka, and one determined to live up to its reputation. 9/10 truly a great find.

Bought a 700ml bottle of this in Germany for around 7€. It is really smooth and very cheap. This vodka is one of the smoothest I've tried so far, I definitely recommend it.

Really good Vodka

reduced price in UK supermarkets (eg Sainsburys) but they've reduced it to 38% volume and it tastes different - less sweet! More like cheaper competitors

It's cheap AND Good. Tell me you've been lookin for a vodka thats not only cheap BUT good--- i'll say GREEN MARK. I just discovered it. Mix it with Pineapple Passionfruit Soda (from Kroger 2L)--- take shots a feel good or mix it for fun. It's a GREAT/NON-ALCOHOL-Y tasting... LIQUOR. You will be DRUNK.... but we will enjoy it fully ....... if u know what I mean. Do NOT be misguided by the price. I drank Crystal Palace before (cheapest, plastic bottles) and THIS is top shelf to me, for real. Grey Goose CANNOT beat this... Seriously. Go with what is KNOWN and TRUSTED. And a drunk who is telling you TASTE. If you dont like shots, this mixes SO well, undetectable-- for other drunks drinking straight: you will SOOOOO appreciate not having to hold your nose.

This is a lovely vodka which has a spicy taste which is unusual but very palatable. It's much more enjoyable that standard vodkas. Enjoy.

This vodka is delicious. None of the harsh taste of vodka of a similar price and as smooth as more expensive vodkas. Love it

I don't normally get away from Titos, but I picked this up in Georgia and I love it. 12 bucks too. Also it does not freeze in the freezer. It turns syrupy, but not frozen.

Why does Green Mark Vodka freeze in the freezer

why have you reduced the abv of green mark vodka and not the price?

I'm normally and habitually a Scotch drinker (blended, vatted and single malt), but occasionally I dip into the world of vodka. Green Mark is my choice when I do. Very flavoursome, compared to other, more expensive vodkas on the market! If you don't have the cash to splash on Stolichnaya, this is the vodka to go for.

this is very drinkable vodka and I'm sure that if it was twice the price you'd be hearing a lot more about it!you can drink it straight up from a chilled glass and want more after rather than wanting new taste buds.
