Oh, and they never expire...
An intriguing vodka from the Netherlands, Oyester44 is distilled just a stones throw from the sea in the fishing harbour of Bruinisse. It's infused with lemon verbena and locally grown organic potatoes, topped with an oyster distillate and drops of seawater. That's not a spelling mistake with the name, by the way - the letters 'ye' in the name stand for the harbour village Yerseke, world famous for its oyster farming since 1906. And it's bottled at 44% ABV, so that's fairly self explanatory. A maritime spirit pretty perfect for paring with seafood.
Fragrant vibrant citrus alongside a subtle, balanced salty maritime note.
