Belvedere Unfiltered is the result of using 100% "Single Estate" Dankowskie Diamond Rye to make vodka. This grain is baker's grade so not only can you make vodka out of the stuff you can also bake a loaf of bread with the leftovers. Then thanks to its natural creaminess, after quadruple distillation, there is no need to filter it multiple times like most vodkas. So Belvedere bottled it up and sent it out to be drunk just like it pops off the still.
Nose: Homemade bread baking in the oven and delicate notes of marzipan.
Palate: Cream, honey and sea salt. On further inspection flinty yet well rounded and smooth.
Finish: Warm buttered bread, creamy until the very end.
Overall: This Belvedere is so creamy you wouldn't believe it hasn't been filtered. What you do get without the filtration is much more backbone, there is lots more going on than in your standard vodka. Baked bread, salted butter, it's all there. This is a vodka for when no other will do.
